Inspired by the novel Eon by Greg Bear

 

This was my entry into CG Society 'Eon' competition. The competition was a tremendous experience and taught me a great deal about my technique. The piece is certainly different to my usual subject matter but I eagerly await the chance to do more of this type of imagery, although some of what I have learned through this experience has certainly seeped into other work since.
